Weekend Night shift pays 40 hours for 36 hours worked PLUS shift differential
System One is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for a direct hire position in Chattanooga, TN. If you have a strong background in dimensional inspection and quality control of machined components, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Perform dimensional inspections on machined components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
- Utilize electronic inspection equipment including:
- CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
- Faro Arm
- Other precision measurement systems
- Conduct inspections using dimensional hand tools such as:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Height Gauges
- Depth Gauges
- Go/No-Go Gauges
- Verify tolerances and specifications, including tight tolerance requirements (+/-)
- Perform receiving/receipt inspections on incoming materials and components
- Document inspection results and support quality assurance processes
- Experience performing dimensional inspections on machined parts
- Proficiency with CMMs, Faro Arms, or similar electronic measuring equipment
- Skilled in the use of precision hand measuring tools
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
- Experience with receiving/receipt inspections preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
