Responsibilities
- Independently disassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild motors, pumps, blowers, and gearboxes
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults using AC/DC diagnostic methods
- Replace and rebuild components such as bearings, brushes, seals, leads, impellers, fans, brakes, and clutches
- Take precise measurements to determine correct replacement parts
- Safely operate diagnostic and repair equipment
- Maintain accurate, timely job records
- Support onboarding and skill development of less experienced technicians
- Uphold safety, quality, and shop organization standards
- Work across equipment types including AC/DC motors, blowers, submersible/split-case/close-coupled pumps, and gearboxes
Requirements
- High school diploma
- 2–5+ years of industrial electromechanical repair experience, or equivalent education/experience combination
