Responsibilities
- Successfully make hair color laboratory batches, conducting product stability, evaluate color performance, and record and report results
- Assist in the maintenance of laboratory raw materials, glassware, supplies, and waste
- Communicate formulation stability and efficacy results
Requirements
- BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field plus 0-4 years of experience
- Prior experience in Hair Color/Care or Consumer Products formulation
- Ability to lift bulk materials, fill consumer laboratory samples, and prepare hair tresses with application of consumer products and CGMP practices required
- Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Quick learner
- Strong data management (Excel etc.)
- Experience with lab equipment such as batching equipment, pH meters, viscometer, and interaction with raw material suppliers a plus
- Experience with Microsoft applications in a plus
