Responsibilities

Assemble and manufacture fiber-optic components such as combiners, couplers, and multicore fiber fanouts

Prepare, strip, cleave, and splice optical fibers for precision assemblies

Read and follow schematics, drawings, and written work instructions
-
Perform optical testing using light sources, detectors, and measurement equipment
-
Record process data and inspection results using basic computer systems
-
Collaborate with team members to maintain quality, efficiency, and safety standards
-
Support R&D, testing, and prototyping activities as needed
Qualifications

Strong interest in starting a career in fiber-optic or high-tech manufacturing

Patience and focus—comfortable performing detailed precision work
