PACKAGING TECHNICIAN
OVERVIEW
Seeking a Packaging Technician to safely set up, operate, and clean packaging equipment while maintaining strict compliance with cGMP, SOPs, FDA, and DEA guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up, operate, clean, and sanitize packaging equipment in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
- Follow Master Batch Records for packaging oral solid dose (OSD) and other dosage forms.
- Perform in-process inspections and testing to ensure quality standards.
- Clean and sanitize packaging equipment, parts, components, and rooms.
- Complete accurate documentation following GMP guidelines.
- Process labeling and components (counting, transfers, FIFO, returns) during packaging process.
- Maintain safe work practices and collaborate effectively with team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of pharmaceutical or packaging experience preferred (OSD/serialization a plus).
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform basic math.
- Understanding of the metric system.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork.
