System One is working with a client to fill a position for a Maintenance Planner – Scheduler to support efficient, reliable plant operations. This role ensures maintenance activities are well-organized, coordinated, and aligned with production needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules
- Coordinate planned maintenance with production to minimize downtime
- Create, prioritize, and manage work orders within the CMMS
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and production teams on equipment reliability
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized services
- Support the implementation of best practices, policies, and procedures for maintenance operations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance planning experience in an industrial environment
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems is a strong asset
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize within time and budget constraints
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of OSHA and relevant safety regulations
- Experience in the corrugated industry is an asset
