Sales Administrative Assistant
Location: Neptune, NJ
Hours: 8:00 am-4:30 pm, Monday - Friday
Duration: Temporary covering leave of absence
Pay-rate: $22.00-$23.00/hour
Sales Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist in the contract/order administration of all customer purchase orders, files, certifications and representations, customer portals, change orders.
- Assist in the coordination of all correspondence for the respective territories by Region as needed.
- Learn all facets of positions within the Inside Sales group to provide back up when someone is out of the office.
- Maintain the Lead Generation spreadsheets and Quote Log.
- Help with Spare part orders, including pricing and lead times.
- Help with overflow of filing.
- Assist with projects as needed.
- Coordinate Trade Show Logistics, maintain spread sheets.
Sales Administrative Assistant Qualifications:
- One to three years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to navigate and use internet/intranet and other programs such as the MS Office package including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, or Company-wide cross functional Enterprise Resource Planning software. Must also be able to perform limited troubleshooting.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
