Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the control systems for a 2x1 combined cycle power plant located in Gregory, TX.
- Manage GE7FA gas turbines and Mitsubishi Steam turbines, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Utilize Mark 6e and ABB control systems to oversee plant functions effectively.
- Handle ROs and demineralization trailers as part of daily operations.
- Perform daily inspections and troubleshooting of inside and outside plant equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address operational issues promptly and efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating control systems in a power plant environment.
- Strong knowledge of GE7FA turbines, Mitsubishi Steam turbines, and plant controls.
- Experience with Mark 6e and ABB control systems.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, scheduled on a 2x1 shift pattern.
- High attention to safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
