General Profile
We are seeking a driven Parts Associate with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and experience working with automotive or diesel parts in a warehouse or parts distribution environment.
Core Responsibilities

Assist internal and external Distribution Business customers, technicians, and parts personnel with securing necessary parts and supplies.
-
Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and use required PPE.

Manage customer counter duties, including answering calls, assisting walk-in customers, completing paperwork, and processing cash/check/credit transactions.
-
Maintain professional relationships by addressing customer needs promptly; escalate issues when needed.
-
Keep the customer parts counter and warehouse clean and organized.
-
Lead or support parts personnel in sourcing complex parts or finding suitable alternatives.
-
Use systems, catalogs, diagrams, and technician collaboration to identify and procure parts efficiently.

Support management in training and mentoring junior or less-experienced parts personnel.

Participate in process improvement initiatives; may lead smaller portions of projects.

Identify opportunities to upsell related products and services.

Perform warehouse and inventory tasks including:

Daily inventory assistance

Shipping and receiving

Pulling parts from shelves

Stocking new inventory

Processing parts warranties
