Overview
Industrial Manufacturing Company is seeking a Technician to support in quality testing of raw materials, in-process, and final product.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control testing on concrete materials, including sampling, testing, and inspection to ensure compliance with standards
- Prepare and mold concrete test cylinders according to applicable standards
- Transport, log, and track concrete samples in the laboratory environment
- Observe and document production activities, ensuring adherence to specifications
- Prepare daily reports and testing summaries
- Communicate test results and quality issues to production teams
- Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper calibration and use
- Support in maintaining overall quality standards throughout production processes
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of precast panels for compliance with project specifications and company standards
- Perform backside and face inspections, identifying defects and coordinating corrective actions
- Inspect surface finishes, embedded hardware, and panels prior to shipment for quality assurance
- Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and placement according to specifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in construction materials testing preferred
- ACI certification(s) a plus (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting
- Ability to work in an environment with dust, noise, and temperature changes
