System One is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Freeport, TX for a contract opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Support the recruiting team by proactively sourcing talent, building relationships, and expediting the onboarding process.
- Partner with Talent Acquisitions Recruiters to develop strategies supporting current and upcoming staffing needs.
- Develop detailed job descriptions, screening questions, and tool lists specific to positions based on scope of work.
- Source candidates from multiple internal and external pools.
- Screen candidates to ensure qualification for positions to be filled.
- Maintain candidate pools by departments and geographic regions.
- Recruit and assist hiring managers with offers of employment to qualified candidates in a fast-paced environment.
- Schedule individuals for processing and orientation.
- Update Applicant Tracking System in real time with candidate information and interactions.
- Attend job fairs and other industry events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Level I Specialist will typically be responsible for craft worker sourcing.
- Level II Specialist will typically be responsible for professional/indirect/office administration sourcing.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of customer service or HR administrative experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and flexible, able to deal with changing priorities.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under time constraints.
- Strong computer skills and demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of employment laws and compliance (preferred).
- Experience in administration, customer service, human resources, industrial construction, and/or nuclear industries (preferred).
