Job Summary:
System One is seeking a Software QA/SDET for a long-term opportunity in the nuclear technology and energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and quality assurance procedures for applications supporting the assigned team's initiative.
- Identify, document, and track defects.
- Validate fixes prior to release.
- Develop tools and procedures to implement testing and automated testing in the organization.
- Select and implement testing tools in the environment.
- Help build the software QA/testing discipline within the company as the organization moves forward.
Requirements
- Direct experience in nuclear or utility operations, including familiarity with NERC and FERC regulatory requirements.
- Experience within other regulated utility, energy, or heavy-industrial environments.
- Experience in manual and/or automated software QA testing.
- Familiarity with defect-tracking tools and, where applicable, automated test frameworks/scripting.
- Experience developing tools and procedures to implement testing and automated testing.
- Experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing testing tools.
- Ability to help build and grow a testing discipline within an organization.
- Experience with Maximo
