Overview
Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. This role is responsible for cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, security compliance, operational performance, and cost optimization across enterprise cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including networking, compute, storage, identity, and security services.
- Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions and CI/CD pipelines to automate provisioning, deployment, and operational processes.
- Implement and maintain cloud security controls, compliance requirements, monitoring, logging, and audit capabilities.
- Optimize cloud performance, availability, scalability, and cost through resource management and FinOps practices.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and implement preventive improvements to enhance platform reliability and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of cloud engineering experience supporting production enterprise environments, including Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar), Git, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, virtualization, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud security, and DevOps practices.
- Azure certification preferred (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert); experience with cost optimization, monitoring platforms, and regulated industry cloud environments is a plus.
