Overview
Global Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team!
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle US and Canada payroll for approximately 2,000 employees
- Manage complex payroll transactions, including handling overpayments, shift differentials, and planned terminations, with a strong understanding of payroll laws and compliance
- Lead and develop the payroll team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient payroll processing
- Manage payroll vendors and systems, including ADP Workforce Now and other platforms, to optimize payroll operations
- Drive payroll process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Supervise and support 2 direct reports, fostering a collaborative team environment
- 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including 4+ years in a payroll management or supervisory role
- Multi-state and Canadian payroll experience is required
- Strong payroll audit experience and knowledge of payroll laws and compliance
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now (4+ years preferred) or similar payroll systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage complex payroll transactions
