HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you aren’t just "fixing things"—you are the technical steward of a critical community resource, ensuring that mechanical systems run efficiently and homes remain safe and dignified for our residents. We specialize in property & facilities management and oversee dozens of properties in Southern New Jersey. This job is based of our beautiful apartment complex near Costco in Manahawkin, NJ.

The Mission:
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. We value "fix-it-right" solutions over temporary patches.
- Preventative Oversight: Take the lead on the building’s health—scheduling and executing inspections on HVAC units, hot water systems, etc.
- Regulatory Readiness: Ensure all units and common areas meet rigorous safety and quality standards.
- The "Unit Turn" Specialist: Manage the restoration of apartments between residents, applying skills in drywall, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Emergency Response: Participate in a structured on-call rotation to protect the property and residents during off-hours.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Technical Training: A recent certificate or degree from a technical school (HVAC, Plumbing, or Building Trades) is highly valued.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: High-level reasoning skills to solve practical problems where "textbook" answers might not exist.
- Service Excellence: Strong communication skills to interact professionally with residents and property management.
- Reliability: A valid driver’s license and the physical stamina to navigate the property, climb ladders, and lift up to 50lbs.
Education & Requirements:
- High School Diploma (Required).
- Technical School Certification (HVAC, Plumbing or related study is highly preferred).
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license (Required).
