Laboratory Technician Job Duties:

Follow all lab procedures to meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards

Review engineering drawings and work with Engineering and Quality teams to ensure parts meet required standards

Inspect and test production and R&D parts to confirm quality and performance

Record and maintain accurate inspection and test results

Perform both destructive and non-destructive testing on materials and products
-
Identify and report any quality issues or part defects to the appropriate departments

Help develop and improve testing and inspection methods

Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and keep proper records

Participate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts

Train team members on proper inspection methods and product characteristics
Laboratory Technician Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); related experience and/or training a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering drawings and schematics, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Must be able to lift/move up to 25 pounds.
