Responsibilities
- Perform tumor implantation in mice, tumor growth measurement, injections through various routes, general surgical techniques, and collection of blood and tissue samples
- Process tissues and purify immune cells, develop and perform in vitro cell-based bioassays (primary mouse and human cells)
- Investigate components of the tumor microenvironment using multi-parameter flow cytometry
- Independently design, plan, and execute experiments, and maintain accurate electronic records
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate results during internal and external meetings
- Collaborate proactively with team members to coordinate complex in vivo experiments and support cross-functional efforts
Requirements
- A BS or MS degree with 5+ years of experience in immuno-oncology lab research
- Hands-on experience with handling mice, tumor models, tissue processing, flow cytometry, and cell-based bioassays
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office Excel, GraphPad Prism, and FlowJo/OMIQ
- Experience designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, interpreting results, and presenting findings in an impactful manner
