Responsibilities
- Lead the execution and delivery of large-scale IT projects for utility clients, ensuring adherence to organizational goals and standards.
- Manage project teams, including internal personnel, contractors, and vendors, providing proactive leadership and clear communication.
- Create comprehensive project management plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to meet project objectives.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables, proactively identifying and addressing risks to ensure successful project completion.
- Manage project financials, track actuals versus plans, prepare monthly forecasts, and report on project status using dashboards and status reports.
- Coordinate with schedulers and teams to develop work breakdown structures and ensure requirements are documented, reviewed, and approved per standards.
- Establish effective communication channels for project updates and stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, with proven ability to manage analytics projects.
- Experience handling project financials, schedules, scope, and testing.
- Solid understanding of project management processes and procedures.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining strong relationships and effective communication.
- Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to go into the office 3 days per week.
- PMP Certification preferred
