Overview
Leading global healthcare company looking for an entry level Manufacturing Technician I. Ideal candidates should have at least a High school diploma and 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals or biologics processing within a GMP setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform fundamental tasks within a GMP environment in support of manufacturing operations for plasma derived pharmaceuticals.
- Responsible for equipment setup and operation in a biologics processing environment.
- Conduct detailed cleaning of equipment and facilities to MSP/cGMP standards.
- Complete technical training profiles as required.
- Monitor processing parameters such as pH, weights, separation, and assay results during bulk processing and filtration.
- Perform real-time documentation during production runs.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, adhering to safety and gowning protocols.
- Work in a cold environment, standing or bending for prolonged periods, and lift/push up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently with good judgment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals or biologics processing within a GMP setting.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).
- Basic math skills and proficiency in the metric system.
- Accurate documentation skills and proficiency with a 10-key calculator.
- Basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work any shift, including weekends.
- Ability to lift/push 50 lbs and work in a clean room environment.
