Hours: M-F 6a to 3:00pm (occasional weekends during production)
Requirements
- 5+ year of QA or food manufacturing experience (dry/powders/bakery/spice)
- Experienced in GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities (bi lingual Spanish is a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work on the production floor throughout the shift
- Highschool/GED minimum or Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology
- Must have car, no mass transit
Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality checks and inspections throughout production and warehouse areas
- Monitor compliance with GMPs, food safety policies, and company procedures
- Conduct line checks, product evaluations, and in-process inspections
- Collect and document quality data accurately and timely
- Verify product labeling, packaging, coding, and specifications
- Monitor sanitation and housekeeping standards throughout the facility
- Assist with product holds, releases, and non-conformance investigations
- Support environmental monitoring and allergen control programs
- Report quality and food safety concerns to management promptly
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation
- Assist with internal audits and audit preparation activities
- Participate in corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support employee GMP and food safety compliance efforts
