- Geotechnical laboratory analysis
- Evaluation and calculation of soil bearing capacity and other geotechnical parameters
- Evaluation of foundation types and design parameters
- Report Preparation and technical writing
- Construction Phase Testing
- Inspection and consultation
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering (required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred; mid-level candidates (5–10 years) without a PE must be willing and eligible to sit for the exam
- 5–15 years of hands-on, relevant geotechnical engineering experience (mid- to senior-level)
- Valid driver’s license
