Building Automation Technician
- Installation and Programming: Setting up and configuring building automation systems to ensure they function as intended.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Performing regular checks, troubleshooting issues, and repairing system components to keep everything running smoothly.
- System Optimization: Calibrating and adjusting settings to improve energy efficiency and system performance.
- Collaboration: Working with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to implement upgrades or modifications.
- User Support: Training building staff on how to use the systems effectively and responding to emergencies when systems fail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure building automation systems using Niagara.
- Program and integrate HVAC, lighting, and security systems for seamless operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to building automation systems.
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and performance optimization.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure system reliability.
