Responsibilities
- Dispensing adhesives
- Bonding parts
- Testing bond strength & physical properties
- Evaluate, collect, and record data
- Participate in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results in a laboratory notebook
- Computer data entry including charts and tables for communication of project results and details
- Operate laboratory equipment and measuring devices
- With guidance, candidate will be expected to follow safety protocols and lab best practices while working with chemicals and lab equipment
- With guidance, candidate will be expected to follow quality protocols according to SOPs and ISO 17025:2017
Requirements
- Candidate should be a fast learner, team player
- Have good note taking skills and communication skills
- The position involves repetitive movements with hands, attention to detail, and being safety conscious
- Mechanical aptitude is plus
- Good report writing skills
- Microsoft Suite experience
- Other attributes will include proficiency in project management, critical thinking, problem solving and handling adhesives and other chemicals
- The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day and the ability to lift at least fifty pounds
