Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced 6G Pipe Welder to join a commercial new construction project in the Tempe, AZ area. The ideal candidate will have strong pipe welding skills, a current or applicable 6010 welding certification, and the ability to produce high-quality welds while meeting project specifications and safety standards.
This is an immediate-start opportunity for a reliable, skilled welder ready to join an active jobsite.
Key Responsibilities

Perform 6G pipe welding on commercial new construction projects.

Complete pipe welds using 6010 electrodes in accordance with project specifications.
-
Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
-
Prepare, fit, align, and tack pipe prior to welding.

Inspect welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
-
Follow all jobsite safety procedures and welding requirements.

Work collaboratively with pipefitters, foremen, and other construction trades to maintain project schedules.
Required Qualifications

Demonstrated experience performing 6G pipe welding.

6010 welding certification required.

Ability to read and interpret welding drawings and specifications.

Strong knowledge of pipe welding techniques and procedures.

Ability to work safely and efficiently on an active commercial construction site.

Reliable transportation to the Tempe, AZ jobsite.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Must be available to start ASAP.
