Responsibilities
- Perform activities associated with the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment, utilizing virus and cell culture techniques according to USDA regulations
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures during process execution
- Assist with training and coaching of current and new employees on required skills
- Complete and review in-process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner; maintain technical data and support documentation
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems; escalate production flow disturbances as needed
- Demonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives
- Assess individual performance in regards to continuous improvement (AAI)
- Support site projects and initiatives, including deviation and change control management
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Biology Degree or related field, with one year or more of laboratory or manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of clean room and aseptic techniques
- Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Basic math skills and equipment/automation troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability
