Overview:
We’re hiring an experienced Administrative Assistant for a fully onsite role in Edison, NJ. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting office operations and executive administrative needs, with an ideal start in early June. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional in communication, and very confident in Microsoft Word and Excel, with 10+ years of administrative support experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage office operations including maintaining filing systems, ordering supplies, and ensuring a tidy, efficient workspace.
- Handle phone calls, respond to emails, and direct correspondence to appropriate personnel.
- Coordinate calendars, schedule appointments, and organize meetings or events.
- Draft, edit, and format reports, presentations, and other documentation.
- Provide administrative support to executives to facilitate their focus on higher-level tasks.
- 10+ years of experience as an administrative assistant.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office technology.
- Ability to interact professionally with staff, clients, and visitors.
