Overview
Specialty Pharmaceutical Manufacturer is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join their team in Malvern, PA!
Responsibilities
- Conduct GMP analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, final product, and stability samples.
- Calibrate, validate, maintain and operate laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, HS-GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, pH meter, balances, KF, DSC, TGA, NMR, LCMS, and GCMS.
- Conduct working standard qualification
- Complete GMP documentation needed to support release of raw materials, intermediates, and final products.
- Validate methods for use in GMP environment.
- Prepare documents such as methods of analysis, specification, analytical reports etc.
- Evaluate analytical methods and procedures and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (chemistry/biochemistry/biology preferred)
- 2+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
- Open to recent Master’s graduates with academic lab experience
- Must operate HPLC independently
- Must have pharma + GMP experience
- Strongly prefer experience with finished product, raw material, or API product testing
