Apartment Leasing Agent Responsibilities:
- Help show units to prospective tenants, assisting with rental payments, late notices, and processing work orders.
- Answer incoming phone calls, provide housing information, and route calls appropriately.
- Greet visitors, prospective tenants, and current residents, providing excellent customer service.
- Provide potential and current residents with accurate information about available rental units.
- Post basic information on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
- File property-related paperwork and organize office supplies.
- Partner with the maintenance team on work orders for residents.
- Maintain and update the waitlist, send letters, and ensure property is presentable by touring daily.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Previous leasing experience is a plus.
- At least two years of related experience preferred.
- Outgoing, friendly attitude with strong interpersonal, sales, and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
