Responsibilities
- Support studies to establish oral solid formulations through laboratory and pilot plant work
- Design experimental formulation studies and conduct material characterization and formulation testing
- Develop and optimize oral formulations using design of experiment approaches
- Conduct material characterization using techniques such as DSC and TGA
- Perform formulation testing including HPLC and dissolution techniques
- Travel between NJ sites Summit and New Brunswick to access laboratories and equipment for experiments
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or related discipline (advanced degree preferred)
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in formulation development or spray dried dispersion
- Experience in oral formulation preparation and testing techniques, including HPLC and dissolution
- Knowledge of data trending and tracking, including use of statistical analysis software a plus
- Ability to work 80-90% in manufacturing and laboratory settings and 10-20% in an office environment
