Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the CyTOF mass cytometry instrument, ensuring optimal functionality for research and development activities.
- Manage reagent inventory to guarantee a constant supply of critical reagents necessary for experiments.
- Perform in-house conjugations for mass cytometry reagents and optimize current protocols.
- Conduct immunological phenotyping studies of Chimeric Antigen Receptor T cells (CAR-T) and Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMC).
- Perform all aspects of mammalian cell culture, including media and buffer preparation, culture initiation, propagation, and cryopreservation.
- Assist in technical review and documentation, including protocols and reports to support research objectives.
- Maintain accurate records including database management, batch records, notebooks, and other pertinent documentation.
- Perform general laboratory tasks, including equipment maintenance and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in cell biology, immunology, bioengineering, or related discipline.
- 0-3 years of experience in cell biology, immunology, or bioengineering.
- Experience with flow cytometry and/or mass cytometry staining and data analysis.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to troubleshoot complex instrumentation.
- Willingness to work with human biological samples.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computer software and hardware for data recording and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
