Responsibilities
- Assist, prioritize, and deliver the day-to-day operations of our company’s USA benefits programs including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, accident plans, flexible spending, retirement, EAP, and leaves.
- Interact with external benefits vendors, facilitate internal transactions, and manage employee requests to ensure excellent customer service and benefits understanding.
- Process benefit-related invoices, coordinate with finance and carriers, and oversee billing and payment activities.
- Respond to employee benefit inquiries, provide support via the benefits portal, and maintain benefits websites.
- Audit and ensure timely payment of premiums, perform weekly payroll deductions audits, and troubleshoot related issues.
- Support HIPAA and COBRA compliance activities, including training and notices.
- Assist with the administration of the Wellbeing program, monitor participation, and communicate related activities.
- Support HR and employee leaves, including benefits coordination during leave processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 0 years of experience with no degree or 2+ years with a relevant degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of benefit plans and hands-on experience with HR Information Systems like Workday and ServiceNow.
- Intermediate Excel skills including Pivot tables, V-lookups, Graphing, Mail-merge, and Formulas.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Availability for at least a 2-month contract with potential extension to 6 months; potential for conversion.
