Responsibilities
- Analyze financial activity, transactional data, and other relevant information to identify potential suspicious activity, financial crime risks, and emerging trends.
- Support regulatory compliance and effective risk mitigation.
- Utilize expertise in financial crime analysis and investigative techniques, including identifying unusual or potentially suspicious activity.
- Use data analysis and research tools, including Excel and other systems used to analyze transactional activity and identify patterns or trends.
- Understand BSA/AML regulatory requirements, financial crime risks, and applicable compliance standards.
- Document investigative findings clearly and articulate risk effectively.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate findings and insights.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of BSA/AML experience or more.
- Experience with Verafin preferred.
- CAMS certification a plus or preferred.
- Experience working in a financial institution preferred.
