Cargo techs - A&P mechanics
Responsibilities
- Repair and test various aircraft cargo components, such as power drive units (PDU’s), lateral guides, latches, locks, and ball mats.
- Utilize hand and power tools to perform repairs and tests on cargo components.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems related to cargo components.
- Follow technical manuals and schematics to ensure proper repairs and testing.
- Work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with team members.
- Maintain safety standards in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and industrial hazards.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation-related technical work or equivalent educational experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to use various hand and power tools.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is a plus but not required.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in an industrial environment.
