Overview
Entry-level Chemical Technician role in Conshohocken, PA, supporting hands-on lab work focused on advanced recycling of waste plastic. You’ll run catalytic experiments, help operate/maintain lab equipment, and perform GC and related analytical testing while documenting and interpreting results
Responsibilities
- Conduct catalytic lab experiments and routine testing related to plastic-waste recycling.
- Prepare and operate lab equipment and perform GC and related analytical testing.
- Collect, process, interpret, and communicate experimental results.
- Troubleshoot experimental setups, instruments, methods, and unexpected results.
- Maintain complete lab records and perform routine instrument maintenance, calibration, and QC work.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in chemistry or higher.
- Ability to conduct lab experiments, follow procedures, interpret data, troubleshoot problems, document work accurately, and communicate results.
- Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
- Prior GC experience preferred, not required.
- Hands-on chemistry lab work experience (academic research, internships, and co-ops qualify).
- Experience with running experiments, operating analytical equipment, data processing, and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
