Responsibilities
- Support hydroelectric project portfolio in Colorado as owner representative overseeing safety, quality, schedule, and contract compliance on hydro and heavy civil projects.
- Review work plans, safety and weather; attend meetings; perform field inspections; coordinate with stakeholders; prepare daily reports.
- Provide oversight and stop-work authority for unsafe conditions.
- Collaborate with project management, engineering, safety, quality, operations, EPC contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Support internal teams and external contractors in a field-based, collaborative environment requiring strong communication and independent judgment.
Requirements
- 5-20 years of experience in construction supervision, heavy civil construction, concrete/underground experience, drawing/specification interpretation, and contractor oversight.
- Strong communication, integrity, collaboration, judgment, and independence skills.
- No specific degree required; engineering or construction management preferred.
- Experience with hydro, dam, bridge, tunnel, mining, or similar infrastructure is preferred.
- Knowledge of hydro, FERC-regulated projects, or government/regulatory experience is a plus.
