Responsibilities
- Configure and operate computer numerical control equipment for various machining operations including turning, drilling, and milling processes
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to produce components within required tolerances
- Perform dimensional inspections and quality assurance using precision measurement instruments
- Execute setup procedures for multi-axis turning centers and maintain optimal machine performance
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery schedules
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in CNC machining operations and programming
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical documentation and engineering drawings
- Competency with precision measuring equipment and dimensional inspection techniques
- Strong mathematical skills for performing calculations related to machining parameters
- Technical aptitude for diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues
- Experience with multi-axis lathe operations preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
