Contract Creo Modeler
Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Creo Modeler to develop and maintain digital models of offshore assets and large industrial structures supporting engineering, classification, and technology initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in PTC Creo Parametric and surface modeling, with experience in applications such as HECSALV and Rhino preferred. This role involves developing accurate 3D models from engineering and construction documentation, performing technical reviews, and supporting digital transformation and model-based engineering initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D structural models in Creo using engineering drawings, construction documents, and imported data.
- Digitize structural forms and develop HECSALV and Creo models from available design documentation.
- Review 3D models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements, applicable standards, and internal procedures.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of 2D and 3D modeling deliverables.
- Identify modeling challenges and recommend improvements to workflows, methodologies, and procedures.
- Support the development and maintenance of Critical Area Knowledge (CAK) libraries and digital modeling standards.
- Prepare, manage, and upload models into the Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
- Communicate project status, workload priorities, and schedule impacts to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project teams to ensure deliverables meet client expectations.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team objectives.
- Participate in technical training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).
- 3+ years of advanced PTC Creo Parametric experience or equivalent 3D modeling experience.
- Understanding of Creo surfacing and ASDX options.
- Diploma, associate degree, or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Ability to interpret complex, multi-page engineering and construction drawings.
- Experience developing detailed 3D models of large structures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with offshore, heavy industrial, or structural engineering projects.
- Experience with digital model development for large-scale industrial assets.
- Familiarity with HECSALV, Rhino, Windchill PLM, and model-based engineering environments.
