Responsibilities
- Manage customer order processing: entry, inspection, change processing, calculating, packaging.
- Maintain customer-required websites and customer-specific reporting.
- Assist the Accounting department with invoicing issues as needed.
- Coordinate communication with freight forwarders or 3PLs as needed in shipping and regulatory compliance.
- Manage customer return workflows.
- Provide assistance to the Industrial Support team upon request.
- Handle customer quote and other non-order related requests.
- Notify the account owner of critical projects, issues, changes, etc. relevant to customer accounts.
- Assist account owners with various customer requests.
- Communicate professionally and timely with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Oversee and ensure all assigned non-conformance reports are closed promptly.
- Ensure accuracy of work instructions, policies, forms, and other controlled documentation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience (Associates Degree in a related field may substitute for 1-2 years of experience).
- Experience in data entry is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, and Great Plains.
- 3 to 4 years of prior customer service experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with staff and management.
- Experience resolving technical issues.
- Good problem analysis and resolution skills.
- Physical stamina to remain stationary, walk, kneel, and crouch; occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to operate a computer continuously and communicate with various levels of the organization.
- Travel as needed.
