Responsibilities
- Perform structural steel fabrication checking with a focus on drafting accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Utilize AutoCAD to review, modify, and approve detailed drawings for structural components.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure all drawings meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Verify fabrication details, measurements, and coordinate with manufacturing to resolve design discrepancies.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of checks and revisions for project records.
Requirements
- Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software.
- Full-time checking experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Prior experience with file review, quality assurance, and project documentation management.
