Responsibilities
- Install and maintain commercial electrical systems and equipment.
- Install and run EMT, rigid conduit, and other raceway systems.
- Pull and route electrical wire and cable.
- Install and terminate panels, disconnects, transformers, and electrical equipment.
- Install lighting, receptacles, switches, and other electrical components.
- Perform electrical terminations and connections according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics.
- Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit accurately.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify installation issues.
- Work safely and follow OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Coordinate with foremen, other electricians, and construction trades to keep projects on schedule.
- Complete work according to quality standards, project specifications, and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Commercial electrical construction experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawings.
- Experience installing and bending conduit.
- Experience pulling wire and making electrical terminations.
- Familiarity with commercial electrical systems and construction practices.
- Ability to use common electrical hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety practices.
- OSHA 10 certification is preferred.
- Electrical license, apprentice card, or documented electrical training is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work from ladders or lifts for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as required.
- Ability to work in active construction environments.
- Ability to work at heights when required.
