Overview
Responsibilities
- This is a temporary position for a local project expected to last 4+ months; depending on performance, contractors could be placed on another project.
- Apply advanced knowledge of electrical theory and NEC code
- Perform NEC calculations
- Execute all types of conduit bends using various bender types
- Install raceways, boxes, cables, panels, breakers, and transformers
- Assist with wire pulling and switchboard installation
- Install light fixtures, devices, and cover plates
- Connect branch circuits including terminations and equipment
- Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Maintain basic knowledge of control systems and components
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Knowledge of electrical theory and NEC code
- Experience with conduit bending and installation
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Basic testing and troubleshooting skills
- Electrician license or certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- MUST HAVE A VALID REAL ID FOR BADGING
- Must pass a panel 5, no THC drug screening
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and work at heights
- Detailed-oriented with good problem-solving skills
