Responsibilities
- Interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to execute work correctly.
- Running conduit, pulling wire, installing panels, switchgear, lighting, receptacles, and other electrical components per drawings and specifications.
- Diagnosing electrical faults, testing circuits, and repairing or replacing defective equipment and wiring.
- Operating hand and power tools, testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.), and using materials efficiently to minimize waste.
- Performing all work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local jurisdiction requirements, without requiring constant supervision.
- Following PPE requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and site-specific safety protocols.
- Completing timesheets, material usage logs, and reporting progress or issues to the Foreman.
- 4+ years of experience in electrical work
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and availability to work on-site
- Valid electrician license or certification (preferred)
