Responsibilities
- Cross-trained to fill in for or support various hourly roles using general mechanical and electrical skills, including assembly, painting, washing, welding operations, shipping/receiving, product testing, and storeroom duties.
- Operates a range of equipment including band saws, plasma cutters, gas cutting tools, welders, magnetic drills, grinders, drill presses, cranes, hydraulic circuit testers, multimeters, strobe lights, hand tools, a hydraulic hose crimping machine, a welding robot, and micrometers.
- Assembles and tests finished products, performing repairs and calibration as needed.
- Follows work orders, bills of material, engineering designs, electrical and hydraulic schematics, and applicable specifications.
- Documents test results and any non-standard as-built features.
- Partners with Engineering on prototype development.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience involving basic welding, electrical, and mechanical skills preferred.
- Basic hydraulic and electrical skills in a manufacturing setting required.
- Ability to read blueprints required.
- Fluid power industry or manufacturing experience preferred.
