Job Title: Histology Associate

Hours: 1st Shift hours, Mon-Fri from 7:30-4:00pm. OT is available, but not required.
Compensation: $25.00 - $27.00/hr
Type: 12-month contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent
Responsibilities
- Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination
- Operate and maintain histology laboratory equipment
- Ensure quality control and compliance with laboratory standards
- Assist pathologists with specimen analysis and embedding tissue's while standing throughout the working hours
- Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
- Highschool diploma or GED is required
- 0-5 years of experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of industry best practices
- Well suited candidates are quick learners and self-starters
- Histotechnician or Histotechnologist certification preferred
- Previous lab experience preferred
