Join a cutting-edge lab to discover novel therapeutics that are seeking a highly motivated Lead Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and optimization of advanced engineering systems used in complex experimental environments. This role combines device development, fluidic and instrumentation system integration, and process optimization to enable reliable, reproducible, and scalable experimental platforms. The position will contribute to both early-stage prototyping and system-level implementation across multidisciplinary applications.
Responsibilities:

  • Design, prototype, and refine devices, components, and system architectures for experimental platforms
  • Develop and optimize fabrication, assembly, and integration processes to ensure quality, consistency, and scalability
  • Design and implement fluidic systems, including flow control networks, pumps, valves, and routing architectures
  • Support development of controlled system environments (e.g., airflow, fluid flow, or dynamic operating conditions)
  • Integrate mechanical, fluidic, and instrumentation systems into cohesive, multi-component platforms
  • Perform system testing, validation, and performance characterization to ensure reliability and reproducibility
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to improve system robustness and efficiency
  • Contribute to material selection, manufacturing methods, and design-for-manufacturing strategies
  • Maintain detailed documentation including design specifications, system configurations, SOPs, and validation data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering solutions with application and operational needs
  • Support preparation of technical reports, documentation, and project deliverables
