Mailroom Associate Responsibilities:
- Credit card manufacturing company - highly secure facility. This person helps with processing daily mail runs, preparing, loading & unloading truck, sorting, etc. Upwards of 20K pieces of mail per day.
- Responsible for removing cardboard, debris and other refuse generated by production (boxes, shrink wrap, etc.)
- Delivers mail to US Postal Service (Eatontown office), FedEx and UPS collection depots and unloads truck.
- Properly secures product while loading and unloading trucks.
- All material must have properly completed paperwork anytime credit cards move from one location to another. Properly completes paperwork prior to moving materials.
- Transports mail (envelopes) from production floor area to warehouse and prepares mail for shipment to post office or UPS or FedEx.
Mailroom Associate Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Post high school education or vocational / technical training is highly desired but not required.
- Must possess a valid New Jersey driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must have resume and prior work history that reflects job stability and progression of duties and responsibilities.
- Must be able to work in a Federally regulated work environment (banking).
- At leas two (2) years experience working in any other type of warehouse related environment with “mailing” or “shipping” responsibilities. Prior sit-down Forklift experience is desirable.
- Must be able to stand for up to eight (8) hours. Lifting up to 50lbs boxes using both arms and legs is needed.
- Must have legible handwriting and be able to write neatly and concisely.
- Must be able to preform basic data entry and ensure accuracy.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, carry material, etc.
