Job Description
-
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on facility wiring, conduit, electrical components, and electronic control systems.

Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled machinery across the facility.
-
Install, bend, thread, and run EMT and rigid conduit (½" to 2"), including kicks, saddles, offsets, and 90s.
-
Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and control systems.
-
Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using voltmeters, ohmmeters, megohmmeters, and other testing equipment.
-
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical drawings.

Work with AC and DC motor controls, variable frequency drives, pneumatics, and hydraulic control systems.

Complete work independently and professionally, ensuring accuracy in work orders, logs, and documentation.

Maintain strong attention to quality, safety, and environmental compliance in all daily tasks.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
-
Licensed Journeyman Electrician in the State of New Jersey (must hold active license).

Minimum of 5 years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience.

Proficient with computers, including Word, Excel, and email.

Understanding of PLC-controlled production lines and related systems.

Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
