Position Overview
Support upstream biopharmaceutical manufacturing in a cGMP cleanroom environment. Responsibilities include cell culture, bioreactor operations, harvest processing, in-process testing, troubleshooting, and mentoring junior associates.
Qualifications
- Experience with mammalian cell culture and upstream processing
- Bioreactor operations experience
- Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and lift up to 25 lbs
- Single-use bioreactors
- Perfusion processes
- Cell culture analytics
- Technology transfer support
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with 3-5 years of experience; OR
- High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience
- Perform media/buffer preparation, cell culture, seed train, bioreactor, harvest, and filtration activities
- Monitor processes and operate analytical equipment (Cedex, BGA, Osmometer, pH/conductivity meters)
- Maintain GMP documentation and support investigations
- Perform aseptic operations in cleanroom environments
- Train Associate I team members and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with SOP updates, technology transfers, and manufacturing readiness
