- Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously
- Prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met
- Evaluate and escalate changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project.
- Lead engineering projects across multiple sites.
- Monitor progress and performance against the project plan
- Identify and resolve operational problems to minimize delays
- Work collaboratively with counterpart project manager at site in Tijuana, Mexico
- Manage ongoing relationship and effective communication with key project stakeholders.
- Bachelors degree with 5 or more years’ experience managing engineering projects in a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of working in a team-based environment.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills : able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Effectively communicate project risks and manage expectations across different functional groups
- Innovative thinker: should be able to envision new and better ways of doing things.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Project (be able to build a schedule and manage critical path)
- PMP certification
- Engineering background or degree
- Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry
