Responsibilities

  • Perform highly skilled maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting work involved with mechanical assemblies in a manufacturing environment
  • Install, maintain, and repair equipment, utilizing strong troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and hydraulic skills
  • Work with various types of building and production equipment, including layout, assembly, testing, and installation based on blueprints, schematics, sketches, and verbal instructions
  • Diagnose and repair issues involving installations and equipment
  • Fabricate and install necessary equipment to accomplish tasks efficiently
  • Study assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, parts lists, subassemblies, tools, and materials to prepare for work
  • Align, fit, and assemble component parts using hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and blueprints
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components
  • Install, repair, and service specialized mechanical equipment, machinery, panels, and wiring
  • Complete installations and conduct necessary testing to verify work quality
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager, reflecting changing business conditions
Requirements
  • High school diploma or graduation from a certified technical school
  • Two or more years of related experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly
  • Effective team communication skills and willingness to assist with various duties
  • Strong troubleshooting, blueprint reading, hydraulic skills, and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and sketches
  • Knowledge of installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment
  • Willingness to work in a safety-conscious environment, reporting injuries or unsafe conditions as required
  • Compliance with safety policies and PPE requirements
  • Attendance and participation in all required training sessions prior to work assignment
  • Operation of client equipment is not permitted unless certified
